Governance
The Association is a Registered Charity [Registration Number 261630].
As such the conduct of its affairs are governed by the various Charities Acts of 1993 (as amended); 2006; and 2011 of England and such further acts as shall be brought into law.
These statutes lay down legally binding standards of governance, administration, regularity, accountancy and reporting. It also places legally binding responsibilities on trustees. In order to meet the requirements of the Acts.
