Obituary For Graham Leslie Philips

Bereavement Graham Phillips

Our Association has received news of the recent passing of Graham 'Torchy' Phillips on Tues 25th August 2026 in York hospital, on his 81st birthday. Graham trained at Chichester and was initially posted to 6 Inf Bde Pro Coy RMP in Münster in 1964, serving at Barnard Castle, Co Durham with the Unit in 1968. He was subsequently posted to 4 Div Pro Coy RMP in Herford.

After leaving RMP he joined the Yorkshire police force before retiring and becoming a taxi driver. 'Torchy' is survived by his wife Maggie and an extended family.

Funeral details are not yet known and will be updated when we are made aware.
